Why Apple Watch Is A Surrender Of Control

I’m an Apple loyalist. I’ve been using it since 2012. Not because I’m a visual artist. Heck, I can’t even draw shit to save my life. But mostly because I’m a true-blue Asian eldest daughter, reformed workaholic, certified slasher and most recently recovering-perfectionist-and-overachiever. Hence, I love Apple for its unparalleled ease and integration. Everything is linked. Everything is one-click-away. Everything is fast.

Needless to say, whenever I need anything tech, it is top-of-mind. See even the decision is fast and easy? The power of branding, indeed.

The only Apple product I can never subscribe to though is the APPLE WATCH.

Because all of us who grew up in an Asian household (plus points if you’re the eldest) are raised to be on top. Nope. We don’t get a choice. It’s part of the package. So we live a life of checklist after checklist, milestone after milestone. We break records (including our own). Youngest this, fastest that. We are at the beck and call of anything and everything that needs our attention.

So imagine putting all of these on your wrist?
